Dirty Reds Pull Even With 4-3 Victory
|
The MSL Dayton Dirty Reds did just enough to secure a victory over the MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 4-3, at MSL Thunder Bay Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Weak Armstrong. Armstrong went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 12. His record improves to 1-3. The win gives MSL Dayton a season record of 11-11.
Seung-nam Sol, the 16-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Sol contributed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put MSL Dayton up, 2-1.
Sol called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
