Dirty Reds Topple Billy Goats with Late Rally
|
The MSL Dayton Dirty Reds beat the MSL Colorado Billy Goats, 4-1, at MSL Dayton Ballpark. Starting pitcher Weak Armstrong was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Juan Sánchez got credit for the save for MSL Dayton. It was his 2nd of the year. The 7th-place Dirty Reds improved to 6-7.
Kane Fullalove went 1-3 for MSL Dayton. The 18-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Tobias Opsteegh. It was his 6th RBI of the season.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Armstrong said.
