Rosbotham Hits 2 home runs in Battery Win
|
Ethan Rosbotham made an impact in the 7-1 MSL Charleston win over MSL Dayton. Rosbotham hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Manuel Javier, the winner, improved to 2-0. He held MSL Dayton to 1 run on 3 hits over 7.1 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. MSL Dayton falls to 3-5.
Rosbotham contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for MSL Charleston in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Rosbotham took a sinker from Floyd Sharpe and stroked the home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Battery to leap in front, 2-1.
"I felt good up there," said Rosbotham. "I saw the ball well."
