5-3 Rocketeers Win over Cattlemen Evens Season Record
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen and MSL Seattle Rocketeers get after it.
MSL Ft. Worth right fielder Dermot Milsom had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 5-3, to MSL Seattle at MSL Seattle Ballpark. Milsom was 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. John Haynes, who went 6.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 9 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 2-1.
Tse-peng Thian made an early impact for MSL Seattle when he stroked his 12th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came with two out in the bottom of the third, put the Rocketeers on top, 5-0.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said MSL Seattle manager Mark Armstead.
The 5th-place Rocketeers improved to 21-21.
