White Walkers Win Thriller, 5-4
|
Starting pitcher Gustavo Sosa pitched well enough to help the MSL Buffalo White Walkers beat the MSL Montana Pandas, 5-4. The winner was Mick Ditka in relief. His record improves to 5-3. Fernando Granja took the loss. MSL Buffalo currently is in 6th place in the PL MSL at 20-21.
The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the tenth, with MSL Buffalo trailing 4-3, Juan Torrez jumped on a 0-2 slider from Fernando Granja for a 2-run home run, sending the White Walkers to a walk-off win.
"This wasn't a good win," said Torrez. "It was a great win."
