Grey Wolves Down Cattlemen, 7-3
The MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen and MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

In the 7-3 MSL Vancouver win over MSL Ft. Worth, the impact of Miguel Alonso was substantial. Alonso, who is tied for 6th in the PMSL with a .386 on-base percentage, went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Edgardo Cuellar, the winning pitcher, is now 3-6. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits, while fanning 6 and walking 1.

The Grey Wolves got an important contribution from third baseman Ron Chambers, who in the bottom of the fourth punched a 1-0 cutter into left for a solo home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Grey Wolves ahead, 4-2.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said MSL Vancouver manager Justin Justice.

The 8th-place Cattlemen have lost 5 consecutive games.
