White Walkers Drop Piranhas, 4-1

The MSL Buffalo White Walkers faced a tough opponent in MSL Panama City pitcher Luis Herrera, but did just enough to pull out the victory at MSL Panama City Ballpark by a final score of 4-1. Herrera went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. MSL Buffalo reliever Tan-ming Bian picked up the win to move to 1-1. Young-lau Tung suffered the loss. After today's action, MSL Buffalo sits at 15-15; MSL Panama City slips to 10-20.
MSL Buffalo used the clutch hitting of Lúcio Román to snag the win. The first baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the White Walkers ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.
"I felt we were ready to go," said MSL Buffalo manager Amadeo Nardello. "Our pregame was pretty good."
