Great Day for Jones -- 5 Hits
It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Ben Jones, it came around today.

The 18-year-old center fielder scattered hits all over MSL Panama City Ballpark to pace the MSL Panama City Piranhas to a 12-7 victory over the MSL Buffalo White Walkers.

MSL Buffalo skipper Amadeo Nardello told reporters in the press room that "Jones deserves a hat-tip."

"He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Jones hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit."

Ben Jones singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.

This season Jones is batting .336 with no home runs. His totals include 13 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
