|
A 4-RBI performance from the 20-year old second baseman Soo-keun Yi helped the Redwood Rhinos beat the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 7-1. Emílio García earned the save, his 3rd, for the Rhinos. The Rhinos saw their win-loss record go to 52-44. At the same time, the Snowpeople fell to 50-46.
Yi went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice against the Snowpeople. In the bottom of the first inning, he reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run that put Redwood in front, 1-0.
"Good win for us," said Yi. "We'll strap it on and go after the next one."
