The Tulsa Otters had to overcome a good performance from Surprise pitcher David Luna to claim a 3-2 win at Shockers Field. Luna went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. The Otters raised their record to 43-36.
Sherman Moore, the 20-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Moore contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put Tulsa up, 3-0.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Surprise manager Geoffroy Cadaloba.
