Harbor Whales Fall Short, 5-4, at Bompton

The Bompton Baby Lakers overcame a fine performance by Greenport designated hitter Efren Cereza to defeat the Harbor Whales, 5-4, at Field of the Browns. Cereza went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The Baby Lakers improve their record to 38-29 with the win over Greenport.
Robert William chipped in for Bompton with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
