The winner in relief was Lao-che Khoo. He is now 6-2. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. The 6th-place Snowpeople sport a record of 36-29.
Emil Senderovits made it 4-3 in favor of Ellesmere Island when he delivered a 2-run single. It came with two out in the top of the ninth. The Snowpeople went on to win.
"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Senderovits told the Ellesmere Island Daily.
