González Delivers Walk-Off Win for Ducks
Despite a fine performance by second baseman Miguel Angel Flores, the Quebec City Baby Blues lost to the Long Island Ducks, 7-6. Flores was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Long Island reliever Chris Adams picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Jorge Cortéz absorbed the loss. The victory makes Long Island 7-25.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Long Island trailing 6-5, Francisco González hit a splitter from Jorge Cortéz for a 2-run home run, giving the Ducks the walk-off win.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," González said.
