The Flint Crush tallied a win at Flint Park, throttling the Shady Side Zoomies, 2-0. Starting pitcher Dan Ward was a big reason for his team's success. The win hiked the Flint record to 52-44.
Ward, who leaned on his fastball, allowed no runs on just 2 hits over 8 innings for the Crush. For the most part, Shady Side hitters were simply overmatched.
