|
Beaumont Crossbeaus starter Nam-shik Yi turned in an exceptional performance against the Flint Crush at Flint Park, resulting in a Beaumont win, 6-1. The winning pitcher was Yi, now 2-9. He tossed 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 8. The triumph makes Beaumont 30-61.
Beaumont relied on the hitting of Yuan Thean to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Crossbeaus on top, 6-1. For the game, Thean had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Yi told the Beaumont Today.
