Beavers Deal Express 4-2 Defeat
|
Northwest Territory Beavers starter John Farmer pitched a strong game against the Napanee Express at Beaver Town, leading the Beavers to victory, 4-2. The Beavers improved to 33-36.
In the bottom of the fourth, with Northwest Territory leading 1-0, left fielder Dong-chan Yong hit a run-scoring single. The hit came off Bob Thompson and put the Beavers ahead, 2-0.
"I like what I saw today," said Northwest Territory manager Robert Acker, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
