Late Magic Gets Capital Hill 5-1 Win
|
The Capital Hill Interns defeated the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, 5-1, in USSL Low A action at Kittie Park. Capital Hill pitcher Javier Caraballo had a standout performance. The 6th-place Interns lifted their record to 29-28.
Capital Hill used a clutch hit from Miguel Alemán to snatch the win. The pinch hitter belted a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Interns ahead, 5-1. It was his only hit, but it was huge.
"I had a good game plan," said Caraballo. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Vincent Parker said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
