Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Baby Blues
|
Quebec City Baby Blues starter Henry Peters was in fine form against the Redwood Rhinos at Dylan Park, leading his team to a win, 5-3. The winning pitcher was Peters, now 1-0. He tossed 8 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 7. Manuel Árias collected his 3rd save.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, Terry Reed went deep for the Baby Blues. With Quebec City trailing 3-1, he drilled a 2-run home run.
"We had a good game plan," Peters said, "and we were able to execute it."
The win leaves Quebec City with a record of 3-3.
