Northwest Territory Beats Beaumont, 4-3
|
The Northwest Territory Beavers beat the Beaumont Crossbeaus, 4-3, at The Target. Jeremy Tribe, in particular, was impressive. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. The winning pitcher was Visa Ojanen. He's now 4-2. He went 5 innings, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits for the Beavers. Demy Theunen closed the door for Northwest Territory, picking up his 2nd save of the year.
Northwest Territory used the bat of Mike Collins to capture the win. The catcher jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Beavers ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Tribe.
The Beavers go to 22-24, putting them 7th in the Silver Low A.
