The Northwest Territory Beavers got a superb performance from pitcher Riemer Keizer, but the Napanee Express still won the game, 4-3. Keizer threw 5.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The 9th-place Express have a record of 12-21.

Napanee won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With one out and Cees Heeren on the mound for Northwest Territory, third baseman Robbie Shaw hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Express fans to their feet.

"Exciting game to play in," said Shaw. "Getting the win makes it even better."
