Rams Blast Octopi
The Ladue Rams coasted to a win over the Ogallala Octopi, 13-1. Charles Petit had a good day at the plate for Ladue. He was 3-5 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Picking up the win was David Meyer. He went 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits. The right--hander struck out 13 and walked 4. Ladue now sits at 65-23, while Ogallala falls to 30-58.

The Rams got a lift from center fielder Alden Parrish, who in the bottom of the fourth stroked a first pitch fastball into center for a run-scoring single. It was his 29th hit of the season and put the Rams ahead, 1-0.

"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Parrish told the Ladue Today.
