Ladue wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Chuck Knight, falling to the Watford City Trash Pandas, 3-2. Knight threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Júlio Nieto earned the save, his 12th. With the win, Watford City goes to 42-44, while the Rams fall to 63-23.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Martin Lutley was at the plate when Watford City scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Trash Pandas to go in front, 3-2.

After the game, Watford City manager Luis García applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
