Thompson Plays Big Role in Fort Knox Win
The Fort Knox Centennial picked up a win at Ballpark of Baxter, knocking off the Ogallala Octopi, 6-0. Starting pitcher Eliot Thompson was a big reason why. The win elevated the Centennial to 52-30.

In his 78-pitch effort, Thompson allowed no runs on 2 hits over 7 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 6.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Thompson. "Successful pitchers do it."
