The U-21 faced a stiff challenge from Amarillo pitcher Graeme Boucher, but persevered to claim a win at Ballpark of Elkhorn City. The final score was 2-1. Boucher went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs. With the win, Athletic Club KC upped its record to 46-36.
Chi-hun Ch'a drove in one run for Athletic Club KC. The 18-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Graeme Boucher. It was his 9th RBI of the season.
