Wilson Dominant in Sea Dogs Victory
|
Maine picked up a win at Sea Dogs Park, toppling the Ogallala Octopi, 4-2. Pitcher Christian Wilson was one of the reasons the Sea Dogs triumphed. Getting the save was Ernie Watts, his 3rd. Maine's record now stands at 40-41, placing them 4th in the Premier Low A.
Wilson tossed 88 pitches over 6 innings to clinch the win for the Sea Dogs. The right-hander allowed just 1 hit, while racking up 11 strikeouts in the game.
"I had a good game plan," said Wilson. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," José Rodríguez said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
