The Watford City Trash Pandas defeated the Hicksville Hounds, 9-5, in USPL Low A action at Trash Panda Field. Watford City pitcher Romain Prigent had a standout performance. Prigent, now 4-6, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 1 hit, while striking out 8, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Joseph Rollins recorded the save, his 2nd.

Watford City took a 9-5 lead on Martin Lutley's 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Lutley hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Hicksville pitcher Michael Rivas visibly frustrated.

Prigent told the Watford City Gazette: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."

Watford City, at 33-36, holds down 6th place in the Premier Low A.
