The Fort Knox Centennial picked up a win at Nebraska Aquarium, knocking off the Ogallala Octopi, 5-4. Starting pitcher Eliot Thompson was a big reason why. Thompson went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 0, and struck out 9. His record improves to 5-2. Earning his 5th save of the year was Mark Moss.

Fort Knox needed the clutch hitting of Celestino Pvoas to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Centennial on top, 5-2. For the game, Pvoas had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I was a little disappointed," said Ogallala manager Félix Cruz. "We could've and should've scored more runs."

The second-place Centennial go to 42-26.
