Warheads Lose to Hounds in Walk Off
The Hicksville Hounds got a good effort from starter Gilberto Cruz in defeating the Amarillo Warheads at Hound Pound. The final score was 3-2. The win belongs to Bob Hampton in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Norman Ayres took the loss for Amarillo. The Hounds raised their record to 26-38.

Joren Pelikaan was the walk-off hero for Hicksville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hounds left fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Cruz.
