Hounds Mow Down Uruguayans, 10-4
|
The Hicksville Hounds trumped the Germantown Uruguayans, 10-4, at Ballpark of Albuquerque. Hicksville center fielder Mike Evans was terrific. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The Uruguayans, at 29-32, have lost 4 straight games.
Evans had a key at-bat for Hicksville early in the game. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and gave Hicksville an early 3-0 lead.
"We did more than enough to get the win," said Evans.
