Late Magic Gets Fort Knox 5-2 Win
The Fort Knox Centennial topped the Hicksville Hounds, 5-2, in USPL Low A action at Hound Pound. The standout performance belonged to Fort Knox pitcher and Mao, Dominican Republic, native Fernando López. Fort Knox currently is in second place in the Premier Low A at 33-15.

Fort Knox used a timely hit from Eudaldo Dacutanan to get the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Centennial ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it made an impact.

In postgame comments, López told the Fort Knox Daily News: "Do people still doubt I give 100 percent?"
