The Ladue Rams dealt the Germantown Uruguayans a 4-3 loss at Ballpark of Wellsville. Yoshihito Takeuchi was the star on offense. He went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2. The winner was Allen Oliver in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Juan Cereando took the loss. Mario González finished to wrap up his 18th save.
Orlando Ramírez contributed to the Ladue win. The 20-year old second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Ramírez went 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Ladue manager Lance Davis.
