Meyer Brings A-Game, Rams Beat Hounds
|
Ladue Rams starter David Meyer was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Hicksville Hounds, 5-0. After today's action, Ladue sits at 29-10, while Hicksville falls to 16-23.
Meyer, who dominated for Ladue, earned the victory to move to 7-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 6. Hicksville batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"David was throwing free and easy," said Ladue manager Lance Davis.
