Behind a solid performance from center fielder Jorge Zapata, the Maine Sea Dogs defeated the Amarillo Warheads, 14-7. Zapata went 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Sea Dogs. Maine is in third place in the Premier Low A with a record of 16-10.

Tyler Romero found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Amarillo hurler Manuel Muñóz, the 19-year-old pinch hitter reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run. His 9th RBI of the season put the Sea Dogs on top, 8-7.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager José Rodríguez said.
