Behind a solid performance from third baseman Ángel Soto, the Fort Knox Centennial defeated the Ladue Rams, 9-1. Soto was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Centennial. José Díaz, the winner, improved to 1-0. He held the Rams to 1 run on 3 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 8 and walking 1. With their winning streak at 6, the Centennial have raced to a strong start this season.
