Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Ogallala Octopi and Watford City Trash Pandas.

Pitcher Alonso Rivera was sensational for the Ogallala Octopi in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Watford City Trash Pandas. Rivera picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Gilberto Barrón finished the game for Ogallala and earned his 1st save.

Ogallala used the clutch hitting of Simon Tapley to snag the win. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Octopi ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a crucial one.

"I really like what we did out there today," Tapley said after the game.

The loss puts Watford City at 6-7.
