Airmen Take Down Hobeaus, 8-7
|
Cipriano Juárez added some punch to the Alameda offense, helping them outmuscle the Smoky Mountain Hobeaus, 8-7. In the game, Juárez was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The winner was Ray Brown in relief. His record improves to 6-5. Chris Quesenberry took the loss. The Airmen improved to 51-42.
Juárez had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a first pitch fastball from Chris Quesenberry, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Airmen a 8-7 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Juárez.
