Christian Brown helped his team muscle past the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 6-2. In the game, the Pontiac second baseman was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Getting the save was Hal Wilson, his 13th. Pontiac leads the Silver A by 3½ games.

Pontiac took a 4-2 lead on George Roberts's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Roberts hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Myrtle Beach pitcher Min-zhong Lang visibly frustrated.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Brown said after the game.
