Pontiac picked up a win at Pontiac Copperdome, toppling the Delmarva Gallos, 8-3. Pitcher Jim Lambert was one of the reasons the Godfathers triumphed. Pontiac, at 55-33, holds down first place in the Silver A.

Arthur Shelton was a prime contributor to the Pontiac win. He went 3-5 with 3 singles. He drove in 4 runs. In the bottom of the second with two out, the 23-year old center fielder hit a 2-run single. It made the score 2-0, in favor of the Godfathers.

"The division is still up for grabs, but I like our chances," Shelton told the Pontiac News.
