Tight Tilt Goes to Blue Dragons, 3-2
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Levittown Blue Dragons and the Delmarva Gallos, pitcher José Durán was the difference between victory and defeat. The Levittown right-hander earned accolades in the 3-2 Blue Dragons win. Mike Manning locked down his 18th save. Levittown has a record of 46-33, placing them second in the Silver A.
Alastair Warnes, who is tied for 2nd in the SA in hits with 84, helped out the Levittown cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 3 with a double.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Warnes.
