Medina Lays Hammer Down in 4-3 Win
|
Pontiac picked up a win at Washington Park, bumping off the Washington Generals, 4-3. Pitcher Júlio Medina was a major reason the Godfathers emerged victorious. Salvador Martínez was credited with the save for Pontiac, his 5th of the season. Washington has now lost 5 straight.
Medina delivered a quality start for Pontiac. The 6' 4" left-hander allowed 1 earned run on 6 hits over 8 innings of work.
