The Put-In-Bay Commodores topped the Delmarva Gallos by a score of 8-1. Leading the way was third baseman Larry Anderson. Anderson hit 3 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored three times for the Commodores. Dave Roberts, the winner, improved to 7-4. He held the Gallos to 1 run on 3 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 9 and walking 3.

Anderson had a key at-bat for Put-In-Bay early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and gave Put-In-Bay an early 2-0 lead.
