Blue Dragons Sneak By Seahawks, 2-1

Levittown right-hander Ronnie Peters helped his team edge Myrtle Beach by the score of 2-1. Peters kept the opposing lineup in check. Levittown reliever Mike Thomas picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Ray Stevenson took the loss. The Seahawks, now 28-40, have lost 4 in a row.
The Blue Dragons relied on second baseman Duane Foster for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the ninth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
"We didn't string enough hits together to win the game," said tight-lipped Myrtle Beach manager Tom Oglander. "Obviously."
