Pontiac pitcher Júlio Medina did his part in helping his team beat the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 6-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Pontiac now owns a record of 36-23.

Pontiac center fielder Shawn Dalton helped his team take an early lead. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Medina told the Pontiac News.
