Durán K's 12 En Route to 2-0 Blue Dragons Win
|
Dragoons War Memorial Stadium was the site of a true pitchers' duel.
In a low-scoring tilt between the Levittown Blue Dragons and the Monroeville Yinzers, José Durán was the difference-maker. The Levittown right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Mike Manning nailed down his 9th save.
In his 111-pitch effort, Durán allowed no runs on 4 hits over 7 innings. He walked 3 and struck out 12.
"It's a mindset," said Durán. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
The win puts Levittown at 30-19 this season.
