Blue Dragons Top Generals, 6-0, Behind Peters
|
The Levittown Blue Dragons racked up a win at Washington Park, bumping off the Washington Generals, 6-0. Ronnie Peters, who started for Levittown, pitched effectively for his team. The second-place Blue Dragons lifted their record to 29-19.
Peters, who leaned on his fastball, allowed no runs on just 2 hits over 8.2 innings for the Blue Dragons. For the most part, Washington hitters were simply overmatched.
"Ronnie just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Levittown manager Sal Haynes.
