The Pontiac Godfathers weathered a fine game by Levittown left fielder Alberto Morales to upend the Blue Dragons, 5-4, at The Cave at Levittown. Morales went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Jim Lambert, who went 6.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 11 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 3-3. Pontiac is now 22-15.

Pontiac shortstop Lance Guy contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the seventh. With two down, he hit a changeup into left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 10th hit of the season and put the Godfathers ahead, 5-3.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Guy told the Pontiac News.
