The Delmarva Gallos had to overcome a fine effort from Pontiac pitcher Lonnie Burton to grab a narrow 4-2 win at The Cage. Burton went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Lex Boon picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-2. Mitch O'Sullivan was tagged with the loss. The 8th-place Gallos now have a 4-game winning streak.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the 11th, with Delmarva trailing 2-1, Scott Davis hit a fastball from Mitch O'Sullivan for a 3-run home run, giving the Gallos the walk-off win.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Davis.
