Rollock K's 11 En Route to 2-1 Tula Win
|
Ramblers Ballpark hosted a real pitchers' duel.
The Chicago Tula got a strong performance from pitcher Marcus Rollock, who stymied the Huntington offense en route to a win, 2-1, at Ramblers Ballpark. Ed Davenport was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 29 of 32 save opportunities.
Rollock overpowered the Hermit Crabs. The Chicago right-hander allowed 3 hits over 8 innings, while recording 11 punchouts. With the win, he is 7-1 on the season.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Rollock said.
The victory gives Chicago a record of 62-29.
