Hobeaus Win Thriller, 6-5

Fans who congregated at Smokies Stadium were treated to extra-inning drama.
The Smoky Mountain Hobeaus beat the Washington Generals, 6-5, at Smokies Stadium. The Hobeaus got a fine performance from third baseman Blair Sparks, who went 4 for 5 with 4 singles. He drove in 3 runs. The loss puts Washington at 0-3.
The Hobeaus got a clutch hit from third baseman Blair Sparks. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Hobeaus.
"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Smoky Mountain field general Hong Wei Cao.
