Delgado, Laredo Top Vandals, 4-1
|
Manuel Delgado never let the Vandals get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his curveball, to pitch the Hawks to a win, 4-1. Dean Bradley recorded the save, his 5th. Laredo is 4th in the Menard's A with a record of 49-34.
Delgado allowed 1 run on 1 hit over 7 innings for the Hawks. He walked 4 and struck out 10.
"It was a solid team effort," said Delgado after the game.
